Day Tours of Yellowstone National Park
Grand Canyon of Yellowstone - $279.00 ($399 for double riders)Here is another splendid trip into the first national park of the world. This trip is a little more arduous than Old Faithful as it is 126 miles round trip. We want you to be comfortable driving a snowmobile 35-45 mph so that you'll have ample time to stop and tour the many sights along the route. Our pick-up time for this trip is 6 a.m. and you'll have a hearty breakfast before you make the van ride up to the south entrance. After 25 miles on the snowmobiles you'll take the trail less traveled. The trail to the east will lead you along the northern shores of enormous Yellowstone Lake. We travel along the Yellowstone River, past Mud Volcano and through the stunning Hayden Valley. This is a great trip for scenic and wildlife photo opportunities, though you must keep up the pace and be quick with picture taking, we have many miles to travel! Once you reach the halfway point, lunch will be served in the Canyon warming hut or outside at the edge of the colorful Yellowstone Canyon. Lunch is a delicious and warming hot beef stew served in a bread bowl with lots of extras to fill you up. After lunch you will view the glorious canyon and stunning waterfall. Take a bunch of pictures because it doesn't get much better than this! On the return trip home, we may stop to walk the Mud Volcano Basin and, depending on time, hit some other scenic and points along the way. This trip usually returns back to town around 6:30p.m. Advanced reservations are a must! New Yellowstone National Park regulations limiting daily access and requiring cleaner, quieter 4 stroke snowmobiles are now in place.
